Christie Grove Interiors was founded in 2018. We are a full-service Interior Design firm with a mission to provide exceptional design solutions to meet our clients’ desires while respecting the budget, architectural integrity, and timeframe for the project. We strive to make the process enjoyable and meaningful for our clients. The process begins by providing the conceptual design, informed by introductory design discussions and site visits with the client. We then implement tangible design through drawings and collaboration with local tradespeople, architects, and contractors. It is through our years of developed relationships with local workrooms and vendors that we are able to bring the design concepts to reality for our clients with quality and timeliness that we can stand behind.
In 2019, Erinn Leary began working with Christie. She previously worked closely with Christie and was excited to reunite with Christie at Christie Grove Interiors. As a result of their familiarity with working together, Christie and Erinn have transitioned into this new collaboration seamlessly.
Christie Grove, Principal
A true native of the Pacific Northwest, Christie was born and raised in Seattle and has been inspired by the designers who shaped the Pacific Northwest Style. Initially out of design school Christie worked for a commercial architecture firm, but then moved to the residential sector where the majority of her 20 years' experience has been focused on high-end residential projects. Christie holds degrees in Interior Design from Bellevue College, and Psychology and Humanities from Seattle University.
Prior to Christie Grove Interiors, Christie pursued her passion in residential design at Susan Young Interiors for 17 years. Working at a small, boutique firm that specialized in high-end residential design, Christie gained a great deal of knowledge managing projects of varying size and scope through all stages of the design process. The position allowed her to work on the technical aspects of design, such as space planning and developing drawings for construction, as well as sourcing and designing custom pieces to furnish projects. Christie’s portfolio includes primary and secondary residences throughout the United States, as well as yacht and personal aircraft design. These various projects provided the opportunity to travel throughout the US and abroad, which facilitated collaboration with notable international architects, artists, and tradespeople, providing extensive cross-functional interior design experience.
Erinn Leary, Interior Designer
Erinn Leary received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado with an emphasis in Fine Arts. While earning her degree she interned for a prominent, residential interior design firm, leading her to pursue a post-graduate degree in Interior Design. She moved to New York and completed her Master of Science in Interior Design at the Pratt Institute. Soon after, she returned to her hometown of Seattle and continued working in luxury residential interior design collaborating often with Christie.
Erinn has contributed to the design and build of countless homes across the country. With projects ranging from the most upscale and luxury floor plan to the more conservative, budget-conscious renovation. She strives to make design accessible to everyone regardless of their budget. Erinn's passion for the environment led her to obtain her LEED Green Associate (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) professional credential. She has truly found her place at Christie Grove Interiors,
working alongside her longtime associate and friend, Christie.
